•OBL is a company that is serious about fatigue and the affects it has on families and the environment if an incident occurs.

•OBL has Basic Fatigue management (BFM) for the Line haul section of the business; &
•OBL is the first company to achieve Advanced Fatigue management (AFM) for its drivers in the Cooper / Eromanga Basin. (Crude oil Tanker Drivers)
•AFM allows the company drivers the ability work for 14 days straight without having a 24 hr rest break if work load, weather, volumes etc permit;
•OBL expects drivers to rest when tired and always STOP the Job if unsafe.

The criteria for AFM;
All drivers must use their work diaries daily.
. Current medical;
. Certificate course in BFM;
. Induction training;
. Carry a letter stating you have had training; and
. A copy of the company certificate issued by transport SA (DTEI)
